Warranty

Some products are designed for specific applications or uses. Therefore misuse by the customer will not be covered by the warranty. The warranty we offer is always for manufacturing defects and not for misuse or wrong choice of the product. Please consult our technical and sales departments and the detailed technical information of the product.

The guarantee starts to run from the day of delivery of the material.

Before returning any equipment for repair, you must send a detailed report describing the fault, conditions of use, connected equipment, etc. This will be evaluated by our technical department who will assign a return number that must appear on your return delivery note. All returns will be carriage paid by the customer. If the product is under warranty and has a manufacturing defect, it will be returned postage paid. Otherwise, you will be responsible for the return postage.

MEICON is not responsible for any damage caused by any product sold. It shall be the customer’s
obligation to use protective devices to prevent any possible damage in the event of equipment failure. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused to other equipment connected or integrated with ours or to third parties. We will only cover the repair of products supplied by us.

Some equipment may be sent by us to the factory for repair if we do not have the means to carry out repairs at our premises. In such cases repairs may take up to 2 months to complete and replacement parts will not be supplied unless they have been contracted for. Therefore, if a certain product is vital for your production or operation, we recommend you to have a spare part or consult us about the possible repair time.

If you want a detailed report, you should request the RMA5 analysis template, in this case the term will be of 4-6 weeks and the product will not be replaced by a new one.

Data Protection:

In accordance with the Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data (LPOD) and the necessary amendments relating to the new General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) in force since 25/05/2018, the customer is informed and accepts with his signature, the incorporation and automation of his data, including those contained in the document.

The data collected will be used for informative, commercial and operational purposes by GANTIC MEICON S.L. for its business relationship with the signatory.
The customer’s acceptance that their data may be processed can be revoked without retroactive effect.

Users have recognised and may exercise their rights of access, cancellation, rectification and opposition, as well as have recognised the right to be informed of the assignments made by contacting MEICON via email hola@meicon.es
